How does BureauOne work?

BureauOne speaks with you to understand your furniture goals and creates a rental plan that's flexible and affordable. We source the furniture from premium brands, deliver them to your office, and assemble everything so you don't have to lift a finger. Adding more furniture to your existing plan is easy, and if you need to move, BureauOne provides relocation services for your furniture too.

You guys don't deliver to my zip code. How do I rent?

I am not sure about the furniture I want to rent. How do I go about choosing the right furniture?

How do I add more items to my order?

No problem! Shoot us an email at  care@bureauone.com  and our team will respond immediately.

Can I return a few furniture pieces upon delivery if they don't fit in my office?

You can return furniture that you don't want to rent. There will be a restocking fee for returns. You will hear from us about the fee based on the number of pieces you return.

Can I buy the furniture I rent from BureauOne?

Yes. You have the option to own the furniture you rent at the end of your lease term. Write us at  care@bureauone.com to know more about our rent-to-own plans.

What are the options available to me at the end of the rental term?

At the end of your rental term you can choose to do one of the following, renew your plan, return your furniture or explore our rent-to-own options. Write to  care@bureauone.com to know more.

I just spilled coffee on my furniture. What should I do?

At BureauOne, we always have your back. Just send an email with as many pictures, details as possible to  care@bureauone.com and our team will take it from there.

If you already have an active subscription of our Furniture Protection Plan, we will send a team to evaluate the damage and suggest a replacement, if needed.

My building requires a Certificate of Insurance. What should I do?

Please write to  care@bureauone.com with the details of the person in whose name the COI has to be issued along with the building address and we shall take it from there.

What is the minimum rental term?

The minimum rental term is 6 months.

Can I rent for 2 months?

The minimum rental period is 6 months. But we do offer solutions on a case-by-case basis. Drop us a line at  care@bureauone.com and we’ll try our best to accommodate you.

Are there additional charges?

BureauOne offers white-glove delivery, pick-up, and clean-up. Weekend delivery will incur an additional charge and is subject to availability. Please write us at  care@bureauone.com about your requirements.

A delivery fee may be applicable for our extended delivery zones. Take a look at our delivery zones in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New Jersey, New York, Orange County, the San Francisco Bay Area, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Connecticut and San Diego. Our team will contact you if a fee is applicable.

Is there a lease agreement?

Yes. There is a lease agreement to be signed before you start on your rental plan. Your relationship manager will walk you through it. If you would like to view a sample, drop us a line at  care@bureauone.com

When will the billing start?

The billing will start the day we deliver the furniture to your office.

I received an email with a link to a document from BureauOne after completing my order. What am I supposed to do?

The email contains a link to your rental agreement that you need to sign and send to us. Per the policy, your order will not be processed until you sign the agreement. This agreement is a legally binding document that safeguards your interests as well as ours.

Can I extend my rental term?

Yes, absolutely. Please get in touch with us 15 days before the end of your chosen term. Please write us at  care@bureauone.com and we will be happy to help you.

Can I cancel my subscription early?

Yes, we will help you to cancel your subscription if your circumstances change. In case you need to cancel before your term expires, please let us know at  care@bureauone.com at least 15 days before your desired pick-up date. We will adjust your charges to reflect the actual rental term.

You will be charged the difference in monthly rates between your chosen term (term chosen at the time of your order) and the actual term (the effective term at the time of early closure). The additional charge due at early closure will be calculated as follows:

(Monthly rate for actual term - Monthly rate for chosen term) * Number of months of actual term

In addition, an early cancellation fee might apply.

How do I schedule a pick-up?

Don’t worry! Please get in touch with us 15 days before the pick-up date. If your circumstances change and you need to arrange a pick-up sooner, let us know and we'll do our best to help you. Please write us at  care@bureauone.com.

The furniture was damaged or is different from what I chose. What next?

We take pride in the quality of our service. However, if there has been a lapse on our side, we will deliver a replacement to you. Please write us at  care@bureauone.com. We will get in touch with you and schedule the delivery.

What is the Furniture Protection Plan?

FPP covers the furniture you rented from accidental damage caused by regular use of the furniture. Damage caused by mishandling of the furniture and/or moving it without BureauOne's prior consent will not be covered under the Furniture Protection Plan.

How does the claim process work?

In case of accidental damage, reach out to  care@bureauone.com with details and pictures of the damage within the first 24 hours of the piece(s) being damaged. BureauOne will send a team to inspect the furniture and validate the claim. Once the claim has been validated, BureauOne will send a replacement for the damaged furniture item if you request it. In cases where the extent of the damage does not render the furniture useless, you may choose to continue using it as is.

In cases where the team discovers damage to the furniture at the end of the rental term during pick-up, BureauOne will inform you about it through an email and validate the cause. If we discover that the furniture was damaged with regular usage, you shall not be liable to pay for the damage.

How do I subscribe to the Furniture Protection Plan?

Drop us a line at  care@bureauone.com. We will assign a relationship partner to advise you on your FPP opt-in.

Can I cancel the Furniture Protection Plan after the first month of renting?

Once you have opted in for FPP, we will not accept any cancellations. Should you choose to renew your rental plan, your FPP will also be renewed.

What kind of damage is covered under the plan?

Accidental damage caused during regular use of furniture is covered under this plan. We do not cover damage caused by natural disasters, mold and/or pest infestation, and burglary. Electronics and appliances are not covered under this Plan.

Is the television we rented covered under the Plan?

The Furniture Protection Plan does not cover any electronics and appliances.

We were trying to move the desk we rented from one place to another and one of the legs broke in the process. Can I request for a replacement under the Plan?

FPP is null and void if we find that the furniture has been moved from its original location without our consent. Please write to  care@bureauone.com if you need to move the furniture you leased from its original location.

How much do I need to pay for the Plan?

The subscription fees for FPP is 15% of your monthly rental. You will be charged this fee every month along with the monthly rental fees, plus taxes. In case your order is modified at any point during the rental term, the fees towards FPP will be updated to reflect the modified monthly rental.

Our workplace was broken into and the TV is gone! Can you replace the television set?

We are really sorry to hear about your experience and we sincerely hope that you and your colleagues are doing okay. However, FPP does not cover burglary or appliances at this stage. We will not be able to help you in this case. Please note, FPP does not cover damage or loss caused by natural disasters, theft or mold and/or pest infestation.

What is the Furniture Maintenance Plan?

FMP is an opt-in service provided by BureauOne to customers for regular maintenance of their furniture once every quarter, free of cost.

What kind of maintenance is covered under the plan?

Spot cleaning, tightening screws, oiling movable joints, replacing pulls or missing screws, bolts or washers.

What is the cleaning process during the quarterly visit?

All surfaces will be wiped down; watermarks, stains and scratches that can be fixed shall be fixed.

How do I schedule my maintenance?

You can email  care@bureauone.com and we will work with you to schedule your maintenance as soon as possible!

What happens to my maintenance if I have opted for the Furniture Protection Plan?

Furniture Maintenance Plan is the perfect complement to the Furniture Protection Plan. While FPP protects you from damage costs at the end of your contract, FMP helps to prevent damage and ensures that your furniture looks and works the best it possibly can.

How do I use the Furniture Protection Plan for damaged furniture?

During our scheduled maintenance visit, we can assess damage to identify if it can be fixed. If it cannot be fixed, we shall work with you to find a suitable replacement.

What happens to my damaged furniture if I do not have the Furniture Protection Plan?

We will attempt to repair the damaged furniture during maintenance. If the furniture is beyond repair, you can either keep your furniture until the end of your contract or we can remove it from your workplace. At the end of the tenure, the team will assess the extent of the damage and adjust charges towards damage according to the standard Damage Policy.

Can I cancel the FMP?

Once you have placed an order for the FMP, we cannot accept any cancellations. Should you choose to renew your rental plan, the FMP will also be renewed with it.

Does ordering the FMP guarantee that my furniture will not be damaged?

While maintenance extends the life of your furniture, reduces repetitive-use damage and reduces your cost of ownership, we cannot guarantee that these maintenance activities will completely eliminate the risk of damage.

How do I opt-in for FMP?

I received a request to share my card statements for the last three months. Why do I need to do this?

We request certain financial details from our clients as part of our routine credit check. Please be assured this is a one-time activity and the details shared with us will be confidential and not used for any other purpose.

What is disinfection?

Disinfection is the process of eliminating pathogens and disease-causing microbes, using chemicals. Disinfection does not necessarily remove dirt, germs or impurities but lowers the risk of the spread of an infection.

How is Disinfection better than a cleaning or sanitizing service?

Sanitizing a space reduces bacteria to safe levels (99.999%) and decreases the risk of infection, but may not kill all viruses. Cleaning removes visible soil and debris but will not eliminate germs completely.

How does Disinfection work? Will I have to be present at the time of the service?

BureauOne collects information about your site or space. We contract workers with professional experience in the cleaning/sanitation industry. The crew is then provided with EPA-approved, hospital-grade disinfectant products, and equipment with electrostatic technology. The entire site will be thoroughly disinfected, without damaging client property, in a short period of time.

How long does this service take?

The service takes about 2-3 hours depending on the size of your space

Can I set up scheduled recurring treatments?

Yes, you can set up scheduled recurring treatments for your space. Please get in touch with us at care@bureauone.com to book your next appointment.

How long after treatment can we return to work?

You can immediately return to work after a dwell time of 15-20 minutes after disinfecting.

What happens if I have a known case of a virus?

BureauOne offers a disinfection service, but not a decontamination service. In the case that your facility has any known cases of a virus or if you have any objects that are contaminated, we do not provide services of disposing contaminated materials or hazardous objects. We can offer defense, prevention, and protection, but in workplaces with pre-existing virus cases, we do not offer decontamination services.

Am I guaranteed 100% safety from disease?

While we understand that outbreaks are a serious threat and the safety of your workforce and their families are on the line, BureauOne’s disinfecting service cannot guarantee 100% protection from disease that may occur after the normal course of service completion.That being said, you can maximize your protection by continuing to follow WHO-recommended practices such as frequent washing of hands, sanitizing, and social distancing to reduce the possibility of infection.

How does electrostatic disinfection work?

Electrostatic disinfection is a quick and simple process to ensure 360-degree, no-contact disinfection. Electrostatic sprayers use positive and negative charges for disinfecting solutions to electromagnetically stick to targeted surface areas.

Is it safe to use on/around electronics?

Yes, it is very safe to use on or around electronic equipment.

Will it stain fabrics?

No, it will not stain fabrics.
